BRIEFING
2020-2021, the idea of having a networking platform (PAVNET) where experts across Africa can meet, greet, share ideas and expertise in addressing challenges facing Africa as enshrined in Aspiration 2 and 6 of Agenda 2063 which state,
Aspiration 2-"An Integrated Continent Politically united and based on the ideals of Pan Africanism and the vision of African Renaissance", and
Aspiration 6-"An Africa, whose development is people-driven, relying on the potential of African people, especially its women and youth, and caring for children", emerged.
Three years down the line, we can proudly state that not only have we had a platform (PAVNET) of African experts from across the continent willing to drive Africa's development, but a platform that hosts:
o Top Administrators of the African Union Commission
o Top Administrators of Universities
o Top Administrators of AU Organs
o Top Administrators of national governments
o Top Administrators of nongovernmental organizations
o Top Administrators of media houses
o Renowned medical doctors
o Prominent lawyers
o Outstanding journalists, you name them-all represented in this house (true Pan Africanism/Regional Integration).
A continental organization with Secretariat (Director, Deputy Director, Regional and National Coordinators) and Advisory Council (Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Advisors and Executive Assistant to the Advisory Council).
PAVNET’s scope of work and thematic areas: Governance, STEM, Education, Agriculture, ICT, Entrepreneurship, Human Rights and Environmental Management, are well in line with Goals and Aspiration of Agenda 2063 and other international instruments.
Accomplishing such goals and aspirations requires collective hands on deck, the reason you are invited.
